To resolve this issue ("Soluto has encountered an unexpected error during initialization"), please go to the following folder and rename the Soluto folder to Soluto-old:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Soluto\
Please note that if you're operating system is in a different language then English, the folder names might be in your native language.
The folders might be hidden, if you're unable to locate please enable hidden files:
For Windows XP: Open My Computer, go to Tools - Folder Options - View - select "Show hidden files and folders".
For Windows Vista /7: Open Computer, go to Organize - Folder and search options - View - select "Show hidden files. folders, and drives".
To rename you can hit F2 or right click the folder name - Rename:
After you’ve renamed the folder try installing again.

Hi Maya, I have installed Soluto yesterday; I was expecting that my pc will run faster; but the result is that the pc is very slow. On the other hand, is probable that I have removed some necessary files during the installation and answering the suggention of Soluto about remove or not some installed software. I recognize that I cuold maked mistakes removing wronly some files and I am not a techical person; this the reason because I am very sad for the aobtained results.
Is there any way to back to the status befor the installation? If so, I will very happy and will begin the steps of installation in orther to delete only the files recommended by Soluto. If my english is not clear, I am sorry because I am spanish speaker.
Thans a lot and kind regards.
Hello Luis, this is an unrelated topic, next time it's better to submit a support request, or start a new thread. You can return items back to boot, or enable browser add-ons by going to your "Removed apps" section under "Background apps", locate the app and click "in boot". The browser add-ons are in the blue box in the "Internet" section.
You can also undo all changes by opening the old local desktop app: right click the Soluto tray icon --> advanced --> open old desktop app. Go to "Chop boot", hover over the "Removed apps" section and click "Undo all".
Hello Maya, Thanks for your help. The program works perfectly.
Doens't work for me... I still get a message "This is embarrassing, we encountered an error, bla-bla-bla..." Error code is #1437.
@Taz - you're suffering from a different issue. Please try to run an in-place upgrade to repair Soluto's installation (run our installer). If the issue persists, please send us the local data from your PC to firstname.lastname@example.org (how-to send log files).
