How do I remove startup items?

I don't know if the word "apps" is synonymous with the word "programs". In any case, even after rebooting (restarting), Soluto didn't give me a list of startup items that I want to kill. How do I proceed? Perhaps I closed the program Soluto before rebooting???

Hi Alan,

I saw your replies to other threads as well. This is probably a result of the multi-user accounts on your PC. We currently do not support multi-users on the PC, and Soluto requires installation and operation on an admin account only. You can read more about it here. We do plan to offer non-admin, multi-user support in the future.

What does that mean I can do on a multi-user Windows system? I know I can control my browser. Is there any workaround for me (admin) to stop startup items on my admin account?

Hi Maya,

Is it possible to have soluto running on all the user accounts on this machine at the same time? Will that enable me to work on the bootup items while on the admin account?

Thanks.

Alan.

Hi Alan, Soluto would not work on non-admin users on your PC. So, you need to install and run Soluto only from the admin account on the PC. Boot to the admin account, and you should be able to remove boot items at least by using the desktop agent.

Hi Maya,

Can you explain how I use the desktop agent without opening a browser window?

Thanks,

Alan.
