I have rebooted twice, but it still says that once the PC reboots then I can decide which apps run when it boots. What am I doing wrong?
Are you having the same problem as me (see https://support.soluto.com/requests/15873)? If so, I found a bit of a messy workaround. You can run open up a command prompt, and type:
"C:\Program Files\Soluto\soluto.exe" /userinit
You should substitute whatever is the path to you soluto.exe application though. This should run soluto and discover all your boot applications.
Matthew, requests are private, so apart from you (and us) no one can view them.
Ronald - you have an open request #15655 which you haven't replied to.
This issue could result from a failed installation, Soluto not running properly, or if you're using a non-admin account.
I'm having this problem.... I was frustrated with Soluto & rashly uninstalled, since reinstalling, I've had nothing but problems. I believe it's an admin issue, but how do I get back to my admin account??
Hi Carole, I checked our server side and we do not detect that a boot has taken place. If you have multiple user accounts and installed Soluto on a non-admin account, that could explain that. To resolve the issue, please uninstall Soluto then get a fresh installer from your dashboard at Soluto.com and install it under the admin account.

How do I know when I am in the admin account? I have a screen that says "My PCs" & "Download on this PC"
It also says that I have 2 slots in use. I've invited my mom, who's accepted & my dad & son who have not. Is that second slot my admin account? I don't know how to get to it.......
Hi Carloe, the admin account is the actual user account on your PC. If you're not sure, then you're probably already using an administrator account on your PC. In regards to slots, each invitation takes up a slot - in your case you have 1 active PC, 2 pending invites (one under "My PCs" and one under "People I help") plus 1 dad invitation which we're giving out free for father's day - for a total of 3 slots in use.
So if I count my PC, son's, mom's & dad's..... that's 4. I'm so confused :oj Do you not count my active PC?
I've reinstalled (again!) on my PC, but am getting the same message after rebooting.

I am also having the same issue as Carole. I am on the only user on my laptop, and have restarted my computer twice and received no background app/bootup information. Can you help, Maya?
Also, my computer crashed recently, as it has been for a while because of some bugcode usb error, while Soluto was running, and soluto did not detect it. Do you know why that is? Sorry for the rather vague questions.
Hi Fiona, I just checked your account and the background apps are available for you. It sometimes take a few minutes after the boot for the sync process to complete.
In regards to the PC crashes, at the moment we only detect application crashes (for example, when Word crashes) and not complete PC crashes, but we are planning to delve into that in the future.
I have rebooted twice, and it still does not recognize my background apps. This is the main reason I installed Soluto. A very promising program, IF it worked. Please advise.
After 3-4 hours (and 3 reboots), it is recognizing my background apps. I think I'm going to love this program. There is a real need for it.
Thank you for the update Cynthia, we'll investigate why the synchronization process took so long, as it should not take more than a few minutes.
Same problem here that others are having. Keeps saying background apps will appear on next reboot. Uninstalling now. It may be free, but not worth the trouble.
In my case, it took up to a day for the background apps to show up. I'm now using it on two computers, and I really like it, though I wish the bank of recognized apps was larger.
We're sorry to hear that you've uninstall Wardell, it usually doesn't take more than 10 minutes (post-boot) for the background apps to sync with the servers, but it sometimes takes a little longer than that. We're working to improve the synchronization times.
Like other users I have yet to see results of background apps (after restarts and long fruitless waiting periods). Anything I can do on my end (PC)?
