How secure is Soluto?
Soluto is very secure and can only be accessed with your email and password. Soluto cannot see any personal files, desktop or browser history, just the anonymous technical details of the PC’s performance to help make it better.
Are there any features that won’t be available in the web version?
No, all of the existing features and more are available in the web version.
Why the change?
Soluto on the web has been created thanks to lots of feedback from our users. We’ve added lots of new features and also made it possible to manage multiple computers all from one online dashboard. We want to make sure that all of our users enjoy the best possible experience with Soluto and so we’re upgrading all of our users to the web.
When did this happen? I don’t remember downloading a new version.
Soluto automatically updates when new versions are released. This upgrade took place in May. This upgrade changed only the Soluto software – we didn’t change anything else on your PC.
Can I still use the old Soluto desktop app? How?
Yes the old Soluto desktop app still exists and you will still be available for the next few months while you’re getting used to Soluto on the web.
If you want to continue using the old desktop app, here’s how to get to it:
Right-click the Soluto icon located in the system tray at the bottom right corner of your screen.
Run your mouse over “Advanced”. A dropdown menu of options will appear.
Select “Open Soluto Desktop App.”
Remember that the old Soluto desktop app will only be available for a limited time.
